Booking your cat(s) for a stay at Cardinia Cattery is an acceptance of the following conditions of boarding:
General conditions:
All cats are to be 4 months or over in age and fully vaccinated. Proof of vaccination status must be shown at admission to the Cattery.
The Operator of the cattery reserves the right to refuse entry of any cat or other animal without being required to give an explanation.
The Owner of the cat agrees to pay all costs and charges for special services requested and any veterinary costs for the animal during the time it is in the Operators care. In the event of the animal’s serious illness and where the Owner cannot readily be contacted the Veterinary Surgeon’s decision in relation to treatment of the cat will be final and conclusive.
The Operator will utilise Station Street Veterinary Clinc in the event of any illness that may arise to an Owners cat whilst in the Operator's care. If the Owner is unable to be reached by phone or alternative contact methods the Operator will then make decisions on the health and wellbeing of the cat. The Owner agrees to the final decision made by the Operator in relation to consultation, appropriate medication, diagnostic imaging, pathology and treatment plan, medications and lifesaving treatment and/or euthanasia.
The Owner agrees to be solely responsible for any and all acts of behavior of the cat where it is in the Operator’s care and hereby indemnifies the Operator and shall keep the Operator indemnified to the full extent permitted by law for any action of the animal which apart from this indemnity may have created any liability for the Operator.
The Owner warrants that they are the Sole Owner of the cat or is authorised by the Owner of the animal to enter into this agreement and that the information provided to the Operator is correct.
Owners agree to allow the accommodation of (2) Cats in (1) of the larger pens if the Cats are from the one Family
All agreed Boarding Fees are to be paid in full upon admission of the Owners Cat(s).
Under no circumstances will the Operator or their Employees be held responsible for Paralysis tick, matted fur, Fleas, Feline Flu, injury, illness, death, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever that may occur to a cat while in the control of the Operator.
That the Operator is authorised to apply a flea treatment to the animal if it is found to be carrying fleas and the Owner agrees to pay the reasonable cost of the treatment.
The Owner is responsible for transporting their cat in a suitable safe and secure carrier.
Cardinia Cattery reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice.
Owners are responsible for reviewing the most current version of the Terms and Conditions on Cardinia Cattery webpage.
Fees and Charges:.
Accommodation rates are $28 per calendar day with a minimum booking of (2) days
All agreed Boarding Fees are to be paid in full upon admission of the Owners Cat(s).

Additional Chargers for extra services incurred by the Owner pursuant to this agreement must be paid in full by the Owner when collection their cat(s).
Additional Fees may apply for Special Services, Veterinary Consultation, Medications and for any out of hours services as described under General Conditions above.
Charges are subject to change without notice.
Christmas booking fees and cancellation policy: To secure your booking over the Christmas period a non-refundable deposit of $100/cat or 25% of the balance is required. In the event that the booking is cancelled after October 31st, any refund of fees (less booking deposit) is at the discretion of the Operator and will be dependent upon the loss of earnings sustained by us due to the short notice of the cancellation.
By signing this document, the Owner acknowledges their acceptance of the Cardinia Cattery Conditions of Boarding and certifies to the accuracy of the information given about their cat(s). The owner also acknowledges that the signing of this document shall create a lien over their cat in favour of the Operator.
